TRX is a total body workout utilising the TRX™ suspension training system. This system uses your own body weight to create resistance and build strength. It uses a combination of upper and lower body exercises as well as layering into full body moves that challenge mobility and balance. The exercises vary from simple beginner level to more advanced exercises. All the exercises can be modified to suit your current level of fitness. The TRX workout can also add an element of cardiovascular fitness providing improved performance in sports and other forms of exercise. Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS) is a form of stabilisation based on correct breathing patterns, muscle activity and coordination. The main focus is on spinal stabilisation using the diaphragm, pelvic floor and back muscles. The movements are performed slowly and smoothly adequate to the demands of the exercise.

The DNS approach allows simple movements that are advanced as the body becomes more coordinated in symmetrical stabilisation of the spine. These techniques may be used during your sessions at Meta Pilates providing active trunk stabilisation and individual exercises for your home training program.
