January is always an extremely busy time of year, what with back to work, back to school, bills, and so on to deal with – but it’s important to take a moment now (yes, now) to check when your firearms licence expires, And, while you’re at it, check your Shooters Union expiry date too.
It’s easy to overlook in the New Year rush, and unfortunately, unlike a driver’s licence there is generally no provision for renewing your firearms licence after it expires – and it’s an issue most of the firearms registries simply will not budge on, meaning we can’t help if your licence expires because you forgot to renew it.
